Frequently Asked Questions
What is the date of the conference? April 10, 2021.
What is the schedule? Please see the "Schedule" page of this website.
How will the conference be conducted virtually? The conference will be held via Zoom. Each committee will have their own Zoom link which we will send in the weeks prior to the conference. Your chairs will review how we will use technology during the conference during the first committee session, and we will also send you a brief guide beforehand.
Will there be double delegation positions? Because the conference will be conducted entirely online, all positions will be single delegations. There will be no double delegations this year.
Are position papers required? Because this conference is taking place in the midst of a pandemic, we will not require position papers.
Will there be awards? We will not be giving awards at MustangMUNC because they create a culture which fosters unhealthy competition and undermines the collaborative spirit of Model UN. Instead of giving awards, chairs will write a brief note to each participant at the end of the conference about their strengths and areas for improvement as a delegate.
